Defensive end Ryan Denney signed a four-year contract Monday to stay with the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo's second-round pick in the 2002 draft, Denney had 20 starts in 56 games. He had a career-high four sacks in 16 games last season while backing up Chris Kelsay.
Denney's signing comes after the Bills failed in their bid to acquire defensive end Israel Idonije, who was re-signed by Chicago last week.
